We Are Desert Vista Choir!
Hello! We are the Desert Vista High School Choir Program!
Our award winning choirs have been performing happily in Phoenix, Arizona for almost 20 years!
Our Ultimate Mission is to offer a fun, creative class where students can express their love for music and build confidence in a safe, judgement free environment.
With our 100+ students enrolled in our program we successfully perform 4 concerts a year with our amazing director, Cyndi Flores! As part of the program, our 5 choirs travel to competitions, special performances, and retreats throughout the school year.
Along with concerts, DV Choir also offers many performance opportunities to students such as our annual choir showcases.
We also team up with the Desert Vista Thunder Theatre Company to put on the school musical almost every year.
Our concert repertoire consists mainly of classical choral music, however that doesn't stop us from incorporating some more modern pieces. During the holidays, our choirs perform popular holiday music at our concerts, and around the valley. Our last concert of the year, and a Desert Vista favorite, is the Pops Concert. With a new theme each year, it is always exciting to see what each choir puts together with exciting music, costumes, and choreography.
We hope to see you at our concerts this school year, and can the love of music throughout the valley one student at a time.
