Lettering in Choir is based off of how much you do for the club itself (ex. being a stage manager for a concert or having a solo in the showcase)
No honors credit is required to have a letter!
Lettering Points are collected throughout the year and will be counted up before the end of the year banquet. At the end of the year fill out this form or email a summary of your lettering points to your class representative.

Lettering Requirements:
Earn 400 points to Letter. You cannot use your honors requirements, such as the Regional Audition, for lettering.
100 Points:
- One year in community/church choir
- One year of voice lessons
75 Points:
- All State Audition
- All State Jazz/Show Audition
- All State Choir
- All State Jazz/Show
- See a Professional Choral Concert (Write a review and submit to reps)
50 Points:
- Regional Choir
- Desert Vista Musical
- See a High School Musical/Concert (Write a review and submit to reps)
- One semester of voice lessons
- One semester in community/church choir
25 Points:
- Desert Vista Musical Auditions
- Audition for the Talent Show
- Talent Show
- See a Middle School Musical/Concert (Write a review and submit to reps)
20 Points:
- Be a Part of Choir Council
- Volunteer to Help Another Music Program (Band or Orchestra)
10 Points:
- Wear your Choir T-Shirt on Concert Day
- Take a photo at a Choir Fundraiser (Post it on social media)
- Volunteering (per hour) - capped at 200 points
5 Points:
-Participate in Spirit Weeks (per day)
-Run Warm Ups (per day)
-Run Sight Reading Exercise (per day)
